Growth Path Homeschool
A free toolkit for homeschooling families to keep their own records. It runs entirely in your browser, works with no internet connection, and keeps every piece of your data on your own device.
Growth Path Homeschool is made by homeschooling parents, not a company chasing a market. Between the two of them they have raised or are raising eight children, most homeschooled for some or all of their years, and they draw on a wider family that has homeschooled thirteen. It is built by Ahlchemy Author Company.
What it does
- Attendance — a month calendar for every child at once, with a 5-day or 7-day school week, configurable holidays, and vacations you can block out.
- Grades and GPA — weighted and unweighted, course by course, on a grading scale you set yourself.
- Transcripts — a high-school transcript you can preview and export as a PDF.
- Assignments — what is pending, due and overdue, with the grade achieved.
- Reading list — books to read, being read, and finished.
- Calendar — a weekly timetable the whole house can see.
- Practice — 3,432 flash cards across spelling, math, science, the human body, atoms and elements, history, geography, currency, the calendar and Bible study, aimed at four grade bands, with four ways to practise and a mastery system that brings back what was missed.
- Vocabulary — word lists aimed at each child, suggested from their grade and how their practice is actually going.
Your data stays with you
No personal data is collected. There is no account, no sign-up and no tracking. Nothing you type about your family is readable by us. Optional sync stores an encrypted copy so your own devices can share it \u2014 locked with a passphrase we never receive, so what is stored is a box we cannot open. With sync off, nothing you type or photograph leaves the device at all. The one thing you can choose to send is feedback: the Send-feedback form transmits only what you write there — including an optional contact, if you give one — and only when you press Send, never your records. The app may show homeschool products selected by the homeschooling parents who run the site, with links to find them on Amazon — the same for every family, never chosen from your data. Nobody else holds a copy of your records, so back them up regularly.
Works offline
Add it to your home screen and it runs like an app, on a plane, in a car, or anywhere with no signal.
